registration for the LYB 2025-26 season IS NOW CLOSED AS OF SeptEMBER 1, 2025.

LEAGUE AND UNIFORM FEES

Registration/league fees are required at the time of registration and will NOT be refundable.  The only exception to this rule will be if your participant is not able to be placed on a team due to lack of volunteer coaches for his or her grade/division.  

Player Registration fees for the 2025-2026 season are as follows:

• LYB Instructional League: Grades K-1 - $100 Registration Fee (Includes reversible jersey which is used for practices and as a game uniform.)

• LYB Instructional League: Grade 2 - $100 Registration Fee (Uniforms will be purchased separately, please see details below)

• LYB Competitive League (3rd - 6th Grade) registration includes practice jersey for new players. There is an additional cost for full Uniform.  ALL 3rd-6th grade players will be required to wear a full Lebanon Youth Basketball uniform.  ***Please see below for 2025-2026 uniform details & additional costs.

• Registration Fees are $239.00 for Grades 3-6 for anyone who registers between August 1st and September 1st.

**Please Note: An additional $30 per player processing late fee will be applied for any player registered after the Sept. 1st deadline. 

Uniforms

LYB will be unveiling a new uniforms during the 2025-2026 season for LYB Competitive League (for 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade ONLY)

• Returning players (incoming 4th and 6th grades) will be able to use the same uniform from the 2024-2025 season. No additional purchase required. 
• For new players OR any players who need updated sizing: 
  • Full uniforms will be available for purchase, separate from registration, at a cost of +$113.96.  The uniform store will open after completion of league registration in September and need to be ordered separately by parents/guardians.  

Online payments at the time of registration will be the ONLY form of payment accepted for ONLY league fees.  New uniform or updated sizing for uniforms will be charged separately.  Please double-check the sizing document included in the uniform ordering process to ensure a proper fit.  

Numbers will be assigned by the board at end of registration for new players.

Players in the K-1 Instructional League will wear Lebanon Youth Basketball tshirts for practices and games.  The cost of the shirt is included in the league fees. 

Online payments at the time of registration will be the ONLY form of payment accepted for league fees. The uniform store link will also ONLY accept online payments for uniform fees.

Coaching
 

Please note that IF we have the appropriate number of coaches, ALL players registered in the Competitive league will be placed on a team and will play in one of the 3 divisions within the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League.

It is critical that we get enough volunteer coaches each season so that we do not have to turn kids away from participating.  You do NOT need previous coaching experience to be considered and the league will provide practice plans, drills and assistance preparing for game day.  We just need your time!  Please consider signing up when you register your player, so that we can form as many teams as possible.  All coaches will be required to pass a background check and will be reimbursed for this fee at the beginning of the season.

Player Evaluations

Player evaluations will be held for all participants in the Instructional AND Competitive leagues.  These sessions will allow LYB to ensure teams are formed in the most appropriate levels. As a reminder, player evaluations are closed- no spectators will be permitted.

Evaluation sessions are closed to spectators. At the conclusion of your player's scheduled evaluation time, you may pick your player up outside of the gym.

Players should wear appropriate attire, including gym/basketball shoes and bring a water bottle. PLAYERS SHOULD NOT BRING A BASKETBALL TO EVALUATIONS.

You will be asked to acknowledge that this information was reviewed and accepted during the registration process. 

All players in the 3rd - 6th competitive league are required to have an official LYB practice jersey.  If you do not have a jersey or your existing jersey no longer fits you will need to order one during the registration process.  Please select the size you believe your child requires, LYB will have jerseys available to try on at the evaluations and can modify the size if needed. 

We will again be offering an option to specifically request placement on a Recreational level team within Cincinnati Premier league.  We do ask that recreational level players still attend player evaluation sessions, which will help the league form the most balanced teams possible in the recreational division.  Please note that even if you do NOT choose this option during registration, your participant may still be placed on a team that will be playing in the Recreational level within CPYBL, based on the feedback from the evaluation sessions.

All players must be registered online prior to the 1st day of player evaluations.
