Historically, we have really struggled finding enough volunteer coaches for the number of kids we have participating.  

This past season, we had almost 400 kids participate.  The LYB board spent a significant amount of time trying to find volunteers that would be willing to give their time to coaching a team.  

This season, we are asking for coaches to sign up as early as possible so that we have an idea of how many teams we can form.  IF we don't have enough people step up to coach a team, we will be forced to turn kids away.

Please be aware that the LYB Board will do everything in their power to assist any volunteer coaches with practice plans, game day preparation, etc.  We can also assign a veteran LYB coach as a mentor for any coaches that may not have previous experience.  Also, we will do our best to be flexible with practice days/times in order to accommodate the coaches work/family schedules.
