The Lebanon Youth Basketball Competitive League is open to boys and girls grades 3rd - 6th.  The participants will play in the Cincinnati Premier League (CPYBL) in either the Recreational, High-Recreational or Athletic divisions.  These teams are formed and placed in the appropriate divisions as a result of the data gathered during player evaluation sessions held in the fall.

In order to provide a fair and impartial environment during the player evaluations, we will have outside evaluators observe the children and provide feedback on fundamental skills and game play.  Teams with between 7-10 players will be formed and placed in the appropriate division based on this evaluation feedback.  Our goal is to finalize team formations and send notifications within 1-2 weeks of the final league (not grade) evaluation session. IF we have the appropriate number of coaches registered, ALL participants will be placed on a team in one of the 3 divisions.

All teams will play a minimum of 14 games during the season (most teams will be closer to 20 games).  Practices will start in November and will continue until early March.  Half of the game schedule for all divisions should be scheduled at a home Lebanon location.  However, the other half will be scheduled at various schools within the CPYBL.  Each team will have 1-2 practices a week and games will be played on Friday evenings, Saturdays and/or Sundays.  Practices will be scheduled between 5:30pm - 9:00pm during the week.

All 3rd-6th grade players will be required to wear a full Lebanon Youth Basketball uniform.  

LYB unveiled a new uniform during the 2021/2022 season.  We will use this same design for upcoming seasons.  If your participant needs a new size or you don't currently possess the updated uniform, you WILL need to purchase a new uniform for the new season.  This cost is in addition to the league registration fees.
